Sandy Balls Holiday Village Galllery

Review

Spent last weekend here which was our second visit here at Sandy Balls. When arriving at our lodge we had pleasant surprise we upgraded. We brought our Grandchildren again for the weekend so much for them to do we had a job to fit everything in that they wanted to do. The staff are amazing and a big thank you to the children's entertainers our grandchildren had an amazing time. The whole park is lovely and clean and could not have asked for a better time. Only 1 little niggle the double bed dipped i the middle and needs a new mattress, but this did not spoil our holiday apart from much needed sleep when running round after 2 little ones all day. Thank you again for a really good weekend.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a trip to Paultons Park. Whilst our stay was out of season, there were plenty of people around and the facilities were great for our 2 year old (soft play and swimming pool). We also had an informative and enjoyable Alpaca Walk (we did 30 minutes but should have done the hour walk) around the 'village'. We ate in the restaurant on one night which was good.
The cleanliness of the lodge was OK, there were obvious areas where the cleaners don't clean each time so a build up of dirt and the floor definitely doesn't get washed each 'clean' but otherwise, the lodge itself was comfortable, warm and we would definitely return

Recently took my 7yr old nephew away for a few days to Sandy Balls. We were greeted with a warm reception and headed straight to our van, which was clean, modern and spacious.
The settings are absolutely beautiful and we’ve never stayed on such a tranquil and peaceful park.
We visited the pool which was a good size and warm.
The shop is well stocked, good price and the staff are lovely. The arcade was a good size also, not too big but enough to keep amused, from 2p machines to the more expensive £1 games with a ticket redemption system. Can’t comment on the food as we ate out in local areas in the new forest and on days out to moors valley etc.
My nephew was on half term a week early due to being from Scotland however this didn’t stop him having fun- there were still plenty of activities put on. We booked the alpaca walk which was brilliant! He also did the laser challenge which he loved. Even though it was quiet and only a few children the entertainment staff did a brilliant job with the kids, the kids were contstantly entertained and laughing, in the evenings they did some entertainment for the toddlers and then some party dances and games for the older children, there were only about 4 children and they went out of their way to keep them happy, it then went on to adult entertainment
- evening quizzes, bingo beats etc which were hilarious. The entertainers are credit to the park and really made it a magical experience for the family and it’s memories that will last a lifetime, they were happy and professional at all times.
The only thing we would change is next time to book one of the luxury lodges with hot tubs as they looked incredible!!!! Thank you Sandy Balls!!
