Mill Rythe Holiday Village, 16 Havant Road, Hayling Island, Hampshire, PO11
Did not think that chalets still existed! Many of the ones at Mill Rythe are old, but still comfortable, warm and with en-suite facilities. Beds are rather narrow and the mattresses are getting past their "best buy" date. Excellent staff, food plentiful and lots of choice at Breakfast and Dinner. Assisted service for those that need it. Café open for lunch and beverages, well stocked bar and a large theatre / ballroom. No real complaints although there is plenty of upgrading to be done and a bottomless pit of money comes to mind. For a short break it is very good, plenty to do on site and many interesting places to visit that are not far away.
Have been going to Mill rythe for 6 years and improves year on year without fail. Half board which saves a bomb and the food is great plus there's so much for kids to do there's no chance they're getting bored.... The entertainment team are unreal!!! Can't wait to come back in May ❤️❤️❤️.
Firstly a big thankyou to the house keepers of 7 harrow who helped us with our loads of luggage as my husband was on crutches (porters busy dealing with coach passengers) good food entertainment and helpful staff we will be back.
We have just returned from two weeks of 2 weekends and 2 midweek breaks, that couldn't have been more different. Moonlight and Roses weekend with Walk Right Back,The Everly Brothers Story, Audley Anderson, Matrix Illusions, Tomtastic Martin Jarvis, Arnold Gutbucket, Drive and Jive weekend, Tank Sherman and Paul Fordham, not forgetting to mention the Away Resorts Theatre Company's own spectacular productions, which equals any West End shows, with a great addition in Georgia May and also in James during the daytime, to an otherwise faultless Entertainments team and Resident Band Jet Set.
A special thank you to the staff and management,in particular Katy, for accommodating my Mum's disability needs, both with accommodation near to the complex and in the Ballroom, as well as celebrating Dad's Birthday with a bottle of wine on our table in the restaurant, thanks to Carmen, Miguel & Louis.
Overall, we had a wonderful fortnight with fabulous friends and we will be returning several times more this year. Thank you Mill Rythe.
