At Barmouth Bay Holiday Park

Away Resorts Barmouth Bay whether you are dusting off your walking boots and taking the dog along for some hill-conquering, playing dodge the wave (and losing) or simply laying down your towel for a spot of sunbathing. At Barmouth Bay the best of land, sea and sand are all yours for the taking.

Indoor Heated Pool

We pride Barmouth Bay on our large, heated indoor swimming pool, the large pool is also fully equipped with a children’s play pool so they can splash away to their hearts’ content. With direct access to the worlds largest outdoor pool (The Sea) and our luxuriously warm indoor pool, we have something whatever the weather.

The sandy beach

With direct access to Barmouth Beach, we know you won’t be able to resist a visit. The miles of beautiful unbroken sand invites visitors from all over but luckily never seems to get overcrowded. A real picturesque moments caught between the sea and mountains.

Plenty of play

Outdoor adventure playground, multi-use sports court, hiking, biking and lots more are all here at Barmouth to fill your day. Plus share your holiday snaps using our WiFi, which is now available park wide.

My friend and I stayed with our two dogs for a week from 8 October 2018 (our first visit to this site) and we were astounded by the quality of the caravan, the site and the surrounding area. The staff gave a very warm welcome, and made us feel as though we were personal friends of theirs!
The 6 berth Superior unit was clean and well equipped, with a fridge/freezer, microwave, gas cooker and washing machine. Beds were comfortable and bedding was fresh and spotless.
The site is well laid out and very dog friendly, so to find everything (including the caravan) so clean and tidy was great. There were ample waste and recycling bins throughout the site. There are childrens'play areas, an on-site shop, indoor swimming pool, an amusement arcade and the Sands club.
It took less than a minute to walk to the beach. There are sand dunes, a deep line of pebbles and then miles of sand. Add to this the fresh water delta of the Ysgethin river where it is safe to play (and wonderful for dogs who enjoy drinking their swimming water) and the breathtaking peaks and mountains so close, we had views to die for.
We had such a wonderful week that we have booked for ten days next Spring! Ceri, the Administration Manager has been fantastic, answering all emailed queries up to the date of our stay, We cannot thank her and the staff enough for helping to make our break a time to really be warmly remembered.

Booked and stayed for 3 nights. Seemed very cheap and wasn't sure what to expect. WOW. The caravan was very modern spotless and very comfortable. To top it all off, we had brilliant service from Kerry at reception as well as the other staff working the desk. very helpful both on the phone and in person.
Make sure you bring your own towels as they are not included, however you can rent them from reception for a minimal fee.
The only suggestion I have is it would be convenient if they supplied basic cleaning commodities such as dish washing liquid and clothes, however I'm sure they could be purchased on site.
But overall a brilliant stay, and would love to return
