Barmouth Bay Holiday Park Galllery

Review

We have just returned home after having a 4 night Break, we had booked a superior caravan, which was lovely. But we did notice a couple of things missing, after informing reception, within 15 mins the items were replaced, now that is good service. We find the site to be in a good location, but praise must be given to the staff, you always get a warm greeting and the maintenance guy's are very good. In fact before we left we have booked another break next month.

Just returned from a week at BBHP had a great time with the three grandchildren.
Caravan was superb, had a small problem that was dealt within 5 minutes,
Staff friendly and efficient, went swimming in the heated pool every day.
Had trips out to Harlech castle, Fairbourne light railway, and had a lovely day going over the Cadder idris . The children have not stopped asking when we are going again.
See you as soon as we can. Thanks for a fantastic week.

We had a lovely long weekend at Barmouth Bay Caravan Park at the start of October. We arrived a couple of hours early and our accommodation was not ready but the staff moved things along for us and we were in after about an hour. We had booked a Superior Caravan and was very pleased with the size and space on offer with 2 bedrooms and to our surprise 2 bathrooms. Its been many years since we last stayed in a caravan and things have certainly changed. Admittedly we encountered a problem and had to complain to reception a couple of times. Unfortunately the issue got worse but it was not anything that the staff could have foreseen. The problem was quite bad and we couldn't stay in the caravan, they had to move us but the only thing available was a Lodge. We have never been inside a Lodge but we have to say that it was really lovely and it made our stay just so wonderful.
The beach was just minutes away and so was beautiful. It was dog friendly and we walked for ages without bumping into anyone which was great as we were just looking to get away. Our dog absolutely loved it & the beach was really clean. The only bits of plastic or rubbish we saw we collected up and put in the bin (we strongly recommend that anyone walking along the beach does the same).
As we visited out of season it was quiet on the park and in the town and a lot of shops were closing early but that was fine as we hadn't planned any shopping. Barmouth is a pretty little village with the shops you would need to make your stay comfortable.
All in all we had a great long weekend and the dog really loved it which made it perfect.
